Scholarship for Eddie Masters!
Dear Family & Friends,
I hope this message finds you well, and that you and your family have stayed safe throughout these "unprecedented times!" (If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that sentence it could have paid for Eddie's tuition to SCA alone and then some HAHA!)
Eddie has been attending 1st Grade at Scottsdale Christian Academy (SCA) this year. As a family, we could not be prouder, and more excited to extend the absolutely amazing experience that we have been blessed to have been able to provide Eddie at Paradise for Tots Christian Pre-School to then transition to another amazing school such as Scottsdale Christian Academy.
As parents, it’s so important for us to pick the right school to pair in teachings from our household, from an education standpoint. Leaving Eddie with; the knowledge and practice of how important it is to belong to a community of excellence, belief in faith, good quality of character, social responsibility, and spiritual growth, all while becoming the living example of God's love to others! We seriously could not ask for more!
The state of Arizona offers a great opportunity to its taxpayers to allocate a portion of their tax liabilities towards private education without any out-of-pocket cost. It is a wonderful law that allows every taxpayer to decide how their tax dollars are spent. If a person files as a Single, can allocate up to $1,219, or if filing married/jointly can allocate up to $2,435 and receive dollar-for-dollar credit for the 2021 tax year and you can contribute again (if you choose) for the 2022 tax year.
Here's how it works.
- You can contribute online through April 15, 2022, or print and fill out the form and mail it to STO4KIDZ with a check. You can take the tax credit even if you plan to file for an extension, as long as you contribute through April 15th, 2022. (Please select A+B sections, recommending Edward Masters)
- STO4KIDZ awards the scholarship directly to Eddie at SCA.
- When you file your taxes, claim a private school tuition tax credit for the amount contributed. STO4DIKZ will provide you with a tax receipt with detailed information on how to claim your tax credit.
- The State of Arizona provides a credit against your state taxes for 100% of your contribution.
NOTE: If you're a non-Arizona resident and would like to make a charitable donation to help us lower tuition for Alex and Daniella, you can donate here or print the donation form here and mail it along with your check to STO4KIDZ. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible as STO4KIDZ is a 501(c)3, non-profit charitable organization.
This is such a win/win for taxpayers and families with school-age children. We are predicting our taxes to help another child since the state won't allow us to recommend our own child. We would be so, so very grateful if you consider supporting Eddie's private education to lower his tuition, at no out-of-pocket cost.
I know this can be a bit overwhelming. Please watch a very short video below that explains this amazing program, and if you have ANY further questions about this, please call me or Miriam at 1.602.698.8855 at STO4KIDZ.
Thank you so much,
Ed & Deanna Masters
